Steven F. LeBrun is a retired software engineer with a master degree in nuclear physics from the University of Illinois. Since retirement, he has been working with Raspberry Pi computers and building small robots. He is an active member of the Roanoke Robotics & Makers Club and is a founding member of MAKE Roanoke, a makerspace in Roanoke.
Steven was a mentor for the FRC Team 3939 Botetourt 4-H Robotics for the 2024 Season.
When he is not working on robots, Steven enjoys 3D printing, programming, science fiction, and music. He lives with his wife Debra who is the Director of Music and Worship at the Raleigh Court United Methodist Church in Roanoke, VA USA. Steven is involved with the technology team at Raleigh Court United Methodist Church and can often be found at the video desk running the cameras for services and special events. Steven has played handbells and plays in a recorder ensemble.
